Anti-Bullying / Character Building
Program Materials
 Words Hurt poster and colorables are an important and effective addition to your school or organization's character building and/or anti-bullying efforts.
Designed to be inclusive, this heartfelt rendering along with the colorable version will help bring into focus the importance of paying attention to what we say to each other.
Poster is in color. Colorable sheets are black line on durable cover stock. Packets include resource list and suggested uses for the material.
 Becky Rizor is a graphic artist /illustrator with a degree from the University of Akron. She was commissioned by Oak Associates Ltd. of Akron to do cartoons for Norman Schwarzkopf, Margaret Thatcher and Colin Powell. Becky originally created the “Words Hurt” drawing as part of a local V-Day effort to stop violence against women and girls and adapted it to become part of school and community programs. She is grateful for the opportunity to participate in this project and she hopes her work will help to raise awareness of school bullying , and emphasize the importance of children’s self-esteem.
